a. Water from the sea water has gained heat and evaporated. Water vapour then lost heat and condensed into water droplets on the cooler inner surface of the plastic sheet. (1m) The water droplets then drip into the cup following gravitional pull. b. The sea water has a smaller exposed surface area for evaporation to take place. (1/2m) So, lesser water will evaporate and condense on the inner surface of the plastic sheet, leading to lesser amount of water collected in the bowl. (1/2m)
